Welcome to the website of The Junior League of Augusta, Georgia, Inc.!

I am honored to serve as the 82nd President of The Junior League of Augusta, Georgia. 

Augusta, the second largest city in Georgia, and it's surrounding counties in Georgia and South Carolina comprise the Central Savannah River Area, home to over 500,000 people. As the second-oldest city in Georgia and founded in 1735, Augusta has a rich and diverse history. It is only fitting such a city serves as the home to a diverse women's organization - the Junior League of Augusta.

Founded in 1925, as the Junior Workers, the Junior League of Augusta is an organization of approximately 600 women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the poential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadershiop of trailed volunteers. 

The impact that the League makes in the community is possible because of the dedication of our members, including active members who give hours of service on behalf of the League in our community each year. Beyond their active membership years, the League’s sustaining members continue to serve the League and the community through their leadership and participation in a variety of service activities. The tireless commitment of the entire membership enables the League to address a variety of basic, critical and emerging community needs through community projects, grants, and collaborations.

In addition to its members, the Junior League of Augusta is supported by a generous group of donors, patrons of our Tea Time at the Masters cookbook series, corporations, nonprofit organizations, community partners and friends, who help us in “Building A Better Community” year after year.
