The Junior League of Augusta, Georgia welcomes new members each year through the Provisional Membership Course.  We are proud of our diversity, attracting women of differing racial, socio-economic and educational backgrounds who are committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.   

Who can join the Junior League of Augusta?  

To be eligible to join the Junior League of Augusta as a Provisional Member, a woman must be at least 23 years of age before May 31, 2010 and live in the greater Augusta area (defined as Burke, Columbia, McDuffie or Richmond Counties in Georgia or Aiken or Edgefield Counties in South Carolina).  All Prospective Members must have a Member, a woman must be at least 23 years of age before May 31, 2010 and live in the greater Augusta area (defined as Burke, Columbia, McDuffie, or Richmond Counties in Georgia or Aiken or Edgefield Counties in South Carolina).  All Prospective Members must have a Sponsor. 

Sponsors must be Active or Sustaining Members of the Junior League of Augusta who are in good standing.  Current Provisional Members may sponsor a Prospective Member if they have completed all Provisional course requirements.
