Junior League of Augusta, Georgia Annual Giving Fund

Connecting needs, resources, volunteers, and opportunities-that is all in a day's work for the Junior League of Augusta, Georgia and has been for over 80 years. As an organization with a mission of promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers, we believe in bringing together the strength of women and the power of community to make a difference in the lives of those in the greater Augusta community. 

The Annual Fund provides unrestricted funds for the Junior League's operating budget. It provides essential support to the organization by offsetting operational costs.

When you contribute to the Annual Fund, you are helping to ensure that the Junior League of Augusta meets its day-to-day operating expenses, including community programming, member training, personnel support and costs associated with operating our headquarters.

Your donation to the Annual Fund allows us to continue to achieve our mission on a daily basis. 
If you do not wish to give an unrestricted donation, you may request to have your donation tagged to a specific fund: Arts Endowment Fund, Lenore Crowley Fund, Community Enabling Grants, ACE Awards.

The Community Enabling Fund

Allows the League to allocate monies to non-profit community agencies. The grants are given for a specific purpose, consistent with the Healthy Child Initiative, and are to be used in the Augusta area. The Community Assistance Committee evaluates annual applications and decides how the monies will be allocated. Applications are available in June via the League website and the League office. The application deadline is in September, with grants awarded before the end of the calendar year.

ACE Awards

Grants given to classroom teachers in order to bring creative and innovative projects into their classrooms. These awards are limited to a maximum of $500.00 each. Applications are available in April via the League website and the League office. The application deadline is in June, with grants awarded in the fall. The ACE Awards Committee evaluates the applications and determines recipients.

Arts Endowment 

Awarded since 1987, the Arts Endowment Fund allows the League to allocate monies to tax-exempt non-profit art organizations. The grants are given for a specific purpose and are to be used in the Augusta area. The Arts Endowment Committee evaluates the applications and decides how the monies will be allocated. Applications are available in December in the League office.

Lenore Crowley Membership Fund 

Established in honor of Lenore Harriett Crowley, a long-time employee of the League. The monies in this fund are used to assist members of the League in times of personal need. The disbursement of these funds comes with the approval of the Executive Board of the League.
