The Junior League empowers women through leadership training and developing action in the Augusta community, while building life long relationships with a group of dedicated women from all walks of life. Our members include women who work full-time, part-time and in the home. As a member you will learn about the Augusta community and how to collaborate with other organizations to achieve a common goal.

While members of the Junior League obtain valuable skills and experiences that enable them to reach their potential as leaders in their communities, the most significant benefit is the satisfaction that comes from making a positive contribution to your community. The opportunities JLA offers women in the community are as diverse as the women themselves. As a member, you will enjoy opportunities and training to develop:

  • Leadership potential

  • Community needs assessment skills
  • Mentoring
  • Advocacy
